Nora Lee Ross Raschke, age 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday,
August 12, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Raschke was born September
28, 1934 in Hempstead County, Arkansas. She spent many years
caring for children in her home and was a Baptist. She was preceded
in death by her husband, George Raschke; her parents, Lonnie and
Bennie Ross; sisters, Ula Dean Duke, Mary Helen Burns; brother,
Hubert Ross; sister-in-law, Jimmie Dean Ross and by a nephew,
Jeffrey Ferrand. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law,
Sandy and James Guyton of Wake Village, Texas; one son Wayne
Raschke of Redwater, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law,
Forrest and Evelyn Ross of Hope, Arkansas, Gilbert Ross of Hope,
Arkansas; three grandchildren, Tyler Guyton and wife Holly, Candice
Hendrix, Rachel Akers; four great grandchildren, Colton Hendrix,
Chayse Guyton, Morgan Cawthon, Natalie Taylor; one special niece,
Docia Gay Chabot and numerous other nieces, nephews and other
relatives. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amy
High at Hospice of Texarkana for the great care she gave to Mrs.
Raschke. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the
Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Silvey
officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Cemetery. The family will
receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 to
7:30 P.M.
