Gayle Foster Wiggins, 72, of Hope died Friday, June 1, 2007, in Texarkana, Texas.  She was  
born April 22, 1935, in Hope.

At Hope High Gayle was listed in Who's Who, was a homecoming maid, played in the band
for three years, and participated in Talent night.

Gayle was the retired  owner of Foster’s Family Shoe Store and a member of DeAnn United
Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Van Wiggins. Survivors
include one son, Corby Wiggins of Hope; one sister, Linda Segnar of The Woodlands, Texas
one granddaughter, Zoey Williams of Hope; and two great-grandchildren, Corbin Block and
Layla Coon of Hope.

Memorial services were at  Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home on June 7, 2007, with the Rev.
Keenan Williams officiating.
