Our class must have done a few good things over the last 59 years for the Lord has
blessed us with beautiful weather every year that we have played
reunion golf. This year we did not have Bernard Dunn, but we did have some new
players that gave us a lift. Again this year we played a four-man team scramble
format. One team consisted of Howard Thornton (new player), Joel Osburn, Alvin
Easterling, Joe Micco (new player). Joe is Judy Easterling Micco's husband. Joel
tried to gain an unfair advantage by wounding me while helping him get his golf bag
on the golf cart. The other team players were Dean Roach, Perry Easterling, Donnell
Bagley, and Don Fuller. We were pleased to have Jim Easterling taking pictures
again this year. Appropriately the match ended in a draw. Our thanks go to Don
Fuller who was kind enough to make arrangements at the golf course. Without his
help it would be difficult.
