Sinyard-Shirley Wedding Solemnized
The wedding of Miss Bonnie Shirley and Gail Sinyard
was solemnized May 16, 1953, in the Baptist
parsonage with the Reverend S. A. Whitlow officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hobart
Shirley. Mr. Sinyard's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Sid
Sinyard of Spring Hill.
Vows were exchanged before a background of tall
baskets of pink stock, pink carnations and greenery
interspersed with lighted tapers.
The bride, given in marriage by her father was dressed
in sheer blue nylon over taffeta. She carried a white
Bible topped with lilies of the valley.
A reception in the home of the bridegroom's parents
followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip the couple is at home on West 6th
Street, Hope.
