Ned Ray and Carolyn Barham Purtle of Hope celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on
December 26, 2008. The couple was married at First Baptist Church in Prescott, AR by the
late Dr. John H. McClanahan. They have two sons: Mike and Tiffany of Hope, Steve and
Michele of Russellville, and two granddaughters Makayala of Hope and Ashton of
Russellville.
