The induction of our own classmate Jack White into the International Phi Beta Mu
Hall of Fame is no small feat!  There have been only four other musicians before and
one after this prestigious award for Jack.  Six since 1938!  Jack's presentation at our
main banquet was accompanied by a memento of text and pictures for each class
member.

Friday morning Donnell, Seaweed, Pat and myself decided to go to Walmart and see
who we could find. We were greeted at the door by Katy Lester (official greeter) and
then went inside to see who we could find.  In about five minutes Dr. Holt came in to
buy his weekly grocery supply.  I then received a call from Clyde saying that he
Bernard and Ellis were outside and that they were coming in to join us.   In the
meantime Weaver called and said that he would also like to join our group.  We had a
discussion as to where to eat and decided that the Panda Chinese Buffet would be a
good place to go.  On the way out we ran into Betty Jo Hayes who also agreed that
Chinese food would be good.  Nine of us then enjoyed a 2 ½  hour meal at Panda’ and
caught up on current events.        Perry
